This unit explores the integration of spirituality with the practice and theology of Christian life. Students will be introduced to a range of theoretical and experiential tools with which to explore the inward or contemplative and outward movements of the spiritual journey, the art and craft of discernment and the significance of their personal identity in shaping their faith journey.

This unit is an elective Spirituality unit, building on two foundation units, one in DP or DS and one from another field.
This unit encourages students to engage with theoretical materials applying their theological understanding to lived experience. They are prompted to reflect weekly upon their readings, and to develop a link between their reflections, spiritual disciplines and their theological frameworks. Through content delivery, theological reflection methods, practice exercises and reflective readings learning opportunities will be offered.
