Learning outcomes

1.

Articulate a critical understanding of the nature of Australian society and what the implications are for mission

2.

Evaluate the contribution of the ecclesiology of the Lutheran Church of Australia for the mission of the church in the world today

Demonstrate a critical awareness of the scriptural and confessional principles that apply to the ordering of the Church and the congregation

4.

Evaluate a range of different leadership styles and basic principles of organisation that enhance the pastor's role in congregational administration

5.

Identify issues and design approaches that demonstrate effective pastoral leadership in planning, organising, and coordinating the congregation's worship, education, fellowship, service, and mission
