Missional Ecclesiology addresses key questions in the relationship between the ongoing mission of Christ, the role of the church and congregation, and the role of missional agencies and agitators. Consider how churches are conformed to Christ, how they make disciples, heal a broken world, and witness to Jesus and his gospel in your own and other contexts across cultures and contexts. Through enthnographic and autoethnographic means, enter the ongoing story of the missio Dei through careful reflection on conformity to Christ.

Prerequisites: Either previous study in missiology, pastoral or spiritual care, theology or bible; or substantial experience in and reflection on corporate Christian life. This unit is only available to students enrolled in the Abilene Christian University/Stirling Theological College Doctor of Ministry Program.
Participants will engage in reading, an immersive learning and practical experience, will make presentations and share reflections. The unit may be offered by intensive or online or a combination.
