Students in this unit will examine and evaluate the biblical foundations for mission and the significance of Lutheran confessional distinctives for the mission of the church. Students will evaluate the Catechumenate and other evangelism/catechetical resources. They will explore approaches that contribute to a growing mission awareness and/or practice in congregations or agencies of the Lutheran Church in Australia.
