The unit is concerned to reflect on the missiological consequences of the biblical depiction of God being a God of life, and the challenges provided by conditions of violence, globalisation, and migration. The unit may explore thee issues in the light of current mission practices that reject exclusion and inequality through employing human rights, reconciliation, and advocacy.
