This unit will examine Christian mission from the perspective of the missio Dei with a particular emphasis on biblical foundations for mission. This will be explored alongside historical case studies of five contexts - Central Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. Students will examine how theology, mission history, and cultural studies have informed modern mission theory and practice.
