This unit will meet weekly on Tuesday mornings for 3 hours inclusive of a tutorial.

Students are expected:

  1. To carefully and critically read required primary and secondary texts;
  2. Attend all class sessions;
  3. Meaningfully participate in class discussions;
  4. Successfully complete the assessment tasks (variant 1: an exegetical and interpretive essay on a text from Genesis finalised after a brief presentation in class – 5000 words for undergraduate, 7000 words for postgraduate).
