Counselling Integration Practicum (DZ2075S)

Delivery DZ2860S Theories of Ethical Counselling Integration and DZ2075S Counselling Integration Practicum run concurrently and share the same seminar dates. Live attendance via Zoom is required for all Seminars, Group Supervisions and Tutorial Groups in order to comply with the accreditation requirements of ACA/CCAA.

3) 22nd May (10am – 4pm AEST / 8am WA time)

4) 7th August (10am – 4pm AEST / 8am WA time)

5) 11th September (10am – 4pm AEST / 8am WA time)

6) 16th October (11am – 5pm AEDT / 8am WA time)

These Six Saturday Seminars will all be delivered online via ZOOM. Please note the later 11 am start for Eastern States students for Seminar 1 and 6 are due to Daylight Savings and in order to accommodate WA students.

Group Supervision Sessions (2hrs each) will be offered once a term, at a different time to the Saturday Seminars. Your tutors will publish the dates for each term sessions on ARK and via email.

There will also be self-guided tutorial groups (of 3-4 participants per group) once a term, where skill development exercises are completed (group exercises including the skills self-assessment matrix can be located in the Parent Unit on ARK). The self-guided tutorial groups are also compulsory, and each group will need to mutually decide on a meeting venue, and dates and times. Students will be encouraged to form these small groups with students from the same region during the first Saturday Seminar.
