Weekly study priorities

1. Prepare for the exegetical workshop (Tuesday evenings via Zoom).
2. Participate in exegetical workshop
3. Watch lectures and complete set readings (any time during the week)
4. Work on assessment tasks.

Learning in this unit is accumulative and integrative, each week builds on skills developed and knowledge acquired in earlier weeks. Students who skip core content or don't keep up will struggle.

Indicative total time investment: 200 hours (as per Unit Policy).
This represents the time an average student needs to invest to achieve a unit’s learning outcomes.

Typical time breakdown:

• 24 hours exegetical workshop preparation (2 hours each week)
  
• 24 hours watching pre-recorded lectures (averages 2 hours a week)
  
• 24 hours set readings (averages 2 hours weekly)
  
• 24 hours virtual class time (2 hours per week)
  
• 104 hours work on assessment tasks (planning, analysis, research, reading, writing, editing)

Students are expected to have a good study Bible (NRSV, NIV, NKJV).
The New Oxford Annotated Bible (NRSV) or Harper Collins Study Bible are recommended.
Set readings will be provided on the ARK Meta Unit. Students are not required to purchase any textbooks.
