Particular attention will be given to the manner and content of Jesus’ teaching of the Kingdom of God, and related issues of interpretation discussed in contemporary scholarship. Attention will also be given to ways in which the Acts of the Apostles represents the spread of the Good News in the years following the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Students will consider implications from these themes for contemporary contexts.
